“Our first pet sit experience was with Sharyn and what a brilliant experience it was! From the moment we met Sharyn, we felt instantly at ease that our beloved dog, Bella would be well looked after. Bella went to Sharyn straight away and it was clear that she was just as comfortable with Sharyn as we were. While Sharyn stayed at our house, she took Bella on two long walks a day, often to different locations. She also played fetch with her throughout the day and meticulously groomed her, better than we do ourselves!! On the day we were due to return, we had the unfortunate experience that our flight was delayed and then cancelled. When we explained what had happened, Sharyn went out of her way to ensure that Bella had company until we finally arrived home. She did everything in her power to help our family and made sure that she was still at her next sit in plenty of time. Our house was immaculate on our return, but the best part of the sit was that Sharyn was able to impart knowledge about Bella and she has provided suggestions that have made her a calmer dog ever since the sit. “I just had Sharyn house sit for me for 10 days whilst I was away this month. In this time Sharyn cared for my dog (Jack Russell terrier) and 2 cats. In the lead up to the house sit Sharyn communicated thoroughly with me, via telephone, email, text messages and a FaceTime meeting. After chatting at length I felt very comfortable in securing her for the house sit. She sent me an email outlining what to expect and also some points for preparation of her arrival. Sharyn communicated with me in the days leading up to her arrival, so I was confident that all was on track. On the day that Sharyn arrived at my home, the animals all took to her almost immediately. She was not overbearing but just seemed to have a natural way with them, my cat Daisy especially took to her, who is not usually fond of strangers. After seeing the care she took with my animals and around the home, I had no worries at all and felt confident handing over house keys and care of my babies to her for 10 days. Whilst I was away, Sharyn sent emails every day (as previously agreed) which included photos and videos of all of the pets. Each email reassured me of how well they were being looked after and that there was no need to stress about them or my house. Whenever I did send a message to Sharyn in those 10 days, she replied almost immediately. A day or two before my return home I received handover communication via email and was comfortable knowing that adequate preparations had been made and the animals wouldn't be alone for long before my return home. The second best thing about coming home after seeing my animals all calm and happy was a home that was just as clean (if not more so) as when I handed it over to Sharyn. She looked after my home as though it was her own. I would unreservedly recommend Sharyn as a house and pet sitter. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to pet care and animal behaviour. She takes so much pride in what she does, and I have never seen my babies so calm as after having her care for them. My Jack Russell terrier can be quite unruly, and since my return home, has been so well-behaved. Your home and pets would be in the very best hands with Sharyn.”
